Palm Tran

Palm Tran is a bus system run by the Palm Beach County Government, serving Palm Beach County, Florida. Standard (Adult) one-way fare is $1.25; Students and Senior Citizens are eligible for a "reduced fare." The reduced fare is $0.75 and $2.25 for an unlimited all-day pass. There are no free transfers except to Tri-Rail or Broward County Transit. Daily and 31-day unlimited ride passes are also available for purchase. There are 31-day unlimited passes available, reduced or regular, costing $50 and $40, respectively. All Palm Tran buses have bicycle racks on the front, capable of holding two bikes.

Tri-Rail

Tri-Rail is a commuter rail line that extends 72 miles from Mangonia Park (just north of West Palm Beach) to Miami (at a station near the airport), with stations in intermediate locations such as Hollywood, Fort Lauderdale, Pompano Beach, Boca Raton, Lake Worth, West Palm Beach, etc. In service since 1989, the name refers to the three counties through which the line passes: Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach. It is operated by the South Florida Regional Transportation Authority, an agency of the State of Florida.
